  • Kentucky easily handles Hilltoppers 41-3

Tony Dixon ran for two touchdowns and Kentucky ruined Western Kentucky’s first visit to Commonwealth Stadium in a 41-3 victory on Saturday.

Derrick Locke added a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Wildcats (4-0), who will enter Southeastern Conference play unbeaten for the second straight year.

Just don’t confuse unbeaten for unbeatable.

The road gets much tougher for Kentucky next week when the Wildcats travel to Alabama.

Alabama’s impressive performance against Georgia jumped the Tide six spots in the polls. Alabama hasn’t been ranked this high since it was No. 2 for the first eight polls of the 1993 season.
