Testing testing....*tap tap*......is this thing even on?
Checking to see if my weblog editor is still working ok. Hadn't updated in so long thought maybe the batteries had gone dead. Or sumpin.
Text editor seems to be working fine. Wonder if I can still post pictures?
Yep!
Mmmmm, chili! Think I'll make some when I get home.
It's cold and rainy here today.
That oughta hit the spot!
OK, back on track. Let me check for audio.
Audio works. That's cool!
Let me see if the copy and paste function still works.
*****
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the
donkey and the old man walked. As they went along they passed some
people who remarked it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy
was riding. The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right,
so they changed positions.
Later, they passed some people that remarked, What a shame,
he makes that little boy walk. They then decided they both would walk.
Soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk
when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both rode the donkey.
Now they passed some people that shamed them by saying how awful to
put such a load on a poor donkey. The boy and man said they were
probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed
the bridge, they lost their grip on the animal and it fell into the
river
and drowned.
The moral of the story? If you try to please everyone, you might
as well kiss your ass good-bye.*****
Check!
If I can still embed videos I guess I'm back in bidness!
I love watching, and listening to, this kid play!
His YouTube page is here.
I can link, too!
*I know. I haz mad computer skillz*
Well, it all seems to check out.

Hehe. You're cute.
@jamekablue - No beer in the chili? What the heck am I supposed to use? Tasteless ol' water? Bleccchhh!
@Aloysius_son - Hi, John!
@Randy7777 - Good!
I can hear you from here.
Ok, do not EVEN attempt to put that beer in the chili.
Save me a bowl (with all the meat picked out) - LOL.
@hilaw - Haha. Been two months since I'd posted, thought I'd better check it out. Make sure Xanga got the squirrel back on the treadmill!
i love a thorough man.
@GoodGuyTheBoss - Where is here? It's cold and rainy in Ky, too.
The story gave me my first laugh of the day. It's rainy and dreary here so i needed this. And chili sound delicious!
@distractedbyzombies - You gotta good ear, Mr. Bear! Dinner is, as always, as soon as you get here with the beer.
I like that audio. Sounds kinda like what's his face. Dwight Yoakam. Good stuff.
Interesting chili recipe. I never thought of tomato soup or that jalapeno sauce. I bet it's good. What time is dinner?
@HisKeiki - Make sure you add onion, garlic, chili powder, and hot sauce. It'll be plenty good!
Mmm I want some chili. I need to learn how to make that. I have before, but it's too basic, not a lot of flavoring.
@the_rocking_of_socks - We grill lamb chops every chance we get when we can find them. You will love the lamb!
@buddly47 - I've never had lamb...at least not that I'm aware of. It just makes it that much more appealing.
@the_rocking_of_socks - That does sound good. I love lamb!
Mmmmm, chili. I need to go shopping and cook up another test batch.
Found a recipe for chorizo and lamb chili that I'm dying to try.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - We got pepper jack! Thanks.
Chorizo~
~a little pepper jack cheese and all will be right with the world.
Good to see you post again!
@buddly47 - Yes, It was a compliment! And since I've been here, I've been to at least a dozen other posts...and other than the person who wants to fornicate with me (http://preskinny.xanga.com/743146973/5-xangans-i-would-fornicate-with-thursday-10032011/?nextdate=last&leftcmt=1) your post is the best one I've seen!
@ugotafriend - A real post? From me? You guys expect a lot, dontcha? lol
the only thing missing was the message
"this is just a test, in the event of a real post you will be told where to read. Repeat! this is just a test"
@adamswomanlost - Thanks for the compliment, I think. lol
I could smell the chili and headed straight to your place!

PS...I love that first song. Yes, I listened to it. And the vid...WOW, can that kid play! The song made me think of Italy and Al Pacino.I like the tempo the kid played it.
Hey, I figured if you took the time to put these songs up, I'd listen to them.
@Cestovatelka - Yep, I'm still kickin'!
I was wondering where you were! Glad to see that you're still around!
@buddly47 - ah the old brain and chorizo chili? Now we're talking!

You're coming through loud and clear!! lol
@LoBornlytesThoughtPalace - Haha, I ALWAYS double check the beer!
Text check, CHECK! Sound check, CHECK! Video check, CHECK!
Beer check, DOUBLE CHECK!
@pinkmojomama - I use soup for the extra flavor, but it's plenty hot and spicy! See that habenero?
@pinkmojomama - LOL! Buddly gets a "first"!
I saw that first picture and said, "mmmm....chili!" I notice the tomato soup - Allan puts tomato soup in his chili. I'd never heard of anyone doing that until I saw him make chili. Mine is more hot/spicy chili and his is a sweet Cincinnati kind of chili with cinnamon in it.
First!
