We had to park a couple blocks away and it was only about 5 pm. This place will be packed after 7 o'clock.

This year there's food vendors lining the street. Cool!

    Displays.

All the pumpkins on this huge display are carved as musical instruments and notes. All the pumpkins on the grounds are lighted, but these are synched to music as well. This years music is The 1812 Overture.

This section off to the side is The Choir. Even has men's and women's sections!

Good grief, where do you stop? Sorry this is so long, but, there's over 3000 jack-o-lanterns here.

No way can I show them all.

    So I'm gonna quit.

    Right after this.

As a Halloween related treat, Rick says that he thinks the house is haunted by a ghostly little girl. I'm a bit of a skeptic, so he gave me this video clip as proof.

Skeptical as I am, there does seem to be something there. Do you see what I thought I saw?

    Hahahahahahaha!

    Have a frighteningly safe Halloween!!!

  • Wow that was amazing...It would take me forever cuz I would want to see each and every punkin!

  • @M00nDoll - I think they're probably donated. I'll ask him the next time I see him. They give the carvings and trimmings to Habitat for the Homeless to make pumpkin bread with. Don't know about pies. lol

  • omg!!! where did they get all those?! hahaah. they shud make a giant pumpkin pie:D

  • it gets better every year

  • that's a neat thing they are doing ... and so much work.  love the video.  have you seen the one with the car driving through the country side?

  • @CrazyKey123 - It's pretty neat, and he does it every year. You'd think he'd tire of it after 22 years, but he just keeps going!

  • The Pumpkin House is so cool. Definitely a neat concept- thanks for taking the time to share.

  • @DickDoktorII - Those official team jackets are way expensive man! You're a lucky dog!

  • @buddly47 -    The BC  Lions,  that's a good one.  I should have known better.  Who watches Canadian Football?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier on the Top Blogs -  I don't get in here as much as I use to and missed that. BTW,   I have to take a few pics with my little Kodak later - have something to show you. My sister won a draw down at  Darlington when she was on vacation a couple of years ago. I'll take a few pics and show you the official  GM  team jacket  she gave me for Xmas.  There was about 52,000 people there that day she said so winning this was pretty cool. To some people, it might not be a big deal but I think it's great.
Now, where's my next beer?   Fetch me a beer you lazy, good for nothing dog!  --- ( I'm training a new pup.)

  • @ata_grandma - @ShadesOfAnnie - It's worth the trip to see it in person, specially at night!

  • @DickDoktorII - It was number 1 on top blogs all weekend Steve. Hahahaha, the BC lions is the Boyd County Lions, where I went to high school. Good guess, tho!

  • WOW!  This is amazing !!!   Thanks for the great photos.  I hope Xanga puts this on the Front Page so everyone can see it.

HaHa !  I really laughed when I saw the one pumpkin carved with the  BC Lions on it. Someone must really love football if they're watching the CFL  !!!!!!

  • What a lovely looking house (I love architecture) and all those awesome pumpkins. Wish I could've been there to see both the house & all those pumpkins!!!

  • @ata_grandma - Isn't it, tho? They do this every year!
