This really moved me. I think I will do my part and get rid of my two carry guns!

    S&W's 002

    Any takers?

    But, why stop there?

I don't really need any of these, either.

Or the rifles and shotguns, passed down to me by my father, that I keep beside my bed.

And that Luftwaffe dagger in the cabinet should probably go, too.

    That could hurt somebody!

    Yeah, right.

When they pry 'em outa my cold dead hands!

    Maybe then.

    Maybe.

  • I'm with you!!! Dumbocrats crack me up--thinking getting rid of guns will stop people from killing each other (it's always the gun's fault, right?).

  • No way is this granny getting rid of her guns.  Not in todays world.

  • Oh yeah--let's ban all guns! HA! *laughs ass off*

Just to mention it, the other day, we ad a customer come in with a gun strapped to his belt. Had his wife with him and they sat down and enjoyed their delicious BBQ lunch. I was the only one that noticed he had a gun, which I thought was unusual. I was also glad he came in and ate. Makes ME feel better that a regular citizen is carrying and makes me feel much safer. We all know guns don't kill--only people do.

  •   They can't have my guns either!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting!! I love your humor.
I am getting me a gun....it is only gonna get worse. Obama is not going to help matters in this area at all.

  • Bud, I didn't think it was possible, but I adore you EVEN MORE now after seeing your entire arsenal.  As far as getting rid of your weapons?  You know what I think about all that noise.

I keep my doors unlocked and my firearms loaded.  :)

  • Oh the things I miss!

  • Thanks Harold!

  • ... Okay, that video was just strange. *blinks* In any case, I think I'd probably somehow hurt myself if I carried a weapon. Oh, heck, I hurt myself even when I'm not carrying a weapon. >_<

  • Yeah, I don't think they'll be able to pry them out of your cold hands.  You'll have a literal "death grip" on them!  LOL

I have only seen one real gun in my life.  It was something my dad had during the war.  I saw it as a kid, and he had most of it disassembled and put in different places, so scared was he of one of us finding it and shooting ourselves or each other!

  • Do not, I repeat, Do not do your part, Bud. Back away from the video with both guns drawn. I have your back side with both my guns draw!

  • @Uncious - I am a VietNam vet myself, an avid hunter most of my life, and am currently licensed to carry concealed in 38 states. Been involved in shooting sports all of my life.

  • My father who had the unfortunate = in his oppinions- need for guns due to touring nam and then for home safety before nearly shooting the intruding into her own home land lord, had us grow up without them

  • @adventofreason - Naw! You'd probably be surprised at yourself!

  • @jacksoncroons - @windupherskirt - @jillcarmel - Facetious is my middle name!

  • have you lost your mind? You'll need them to protect yourself.

  • i would probably only shoot my own stupid self if i tried to fire one

  • LOL!  (Just remember the element of surprise in on their side)

  • i agree with Jc - NOT!!! be prepared to drop 'em where they stand ...
