  • I just did my mom's, Oy, I rotated my  own tires once and it was easier.

  • S'up, home cut??  lol

  • @Danth - @Still_groovy - @flatpick46 - I took the easy way out this year and didn't itemize. Saved me a lot of time and frustration! Made the slightly smaller refund well worth it!

  • We try to file ASAP, so we can get the FAFSA done as early as possible.  None of the needed forms arrived early this year, however!

  • I usually file early because I get big tax credits. This year though, I was divorced. I'm no longer looking forward to filing.

  • Yeah, my least favorite game as well, Bud... So you are done, huh? Will you do mine? I'll end up using Turbo Tax. But I generally wait til the last minute.

  • @fivepts - LMAO!!! Yeah, they are. What's good for the goose, ya know!

  • @sweet_sinceritee - It was EZ'er this year cuz I decided not to itemize! But, it's still taxes! Guess I'm going to have to adopt you as my favorite niece. Putting paperwork in the mail first thing in the morning!

  • @GrumpyBear54 - Was thinking about your son yesterday. Is he doing OK?

  • @Jaynebug - Thought you were braver than that, girl!LOL

  • I just got an email from Tim Geithner and Tom Daschle. They said there's no need to get in a hurry...in fact, if I owe and just want to let it slide for a couple of years, that's A-OK with them. They're really nice guys.

  • we will owe money -April 15th

  • Death and Taxes . . . why do they both seem equally ominous? Kudos to you for not letting it wait . . .

  • Why don't cha like it, Uncle Bud??  It says it's EZ......
    puzzled look.
    :)

  • nah. I'm one of those April girls... they can totally wait to get my money as far as I am concerned!

    Diggin the Doors tunes!

  • Have been working on mine for about 10 hours should be done by end of next week....hope all is well down your way....we will be down Thursday to see son in Ashland Thursday....have a great week

  • (runs screaming from site)

  • I learned to be careful and make certain I pay all my witholdings...but I stopped filling a return years ago.  my thrill was the knowledge that the income tax isn't my bill but futa and soc sec.  contract work ends up costing me more than the actual income tax and is such a thrill.  I found real jobs are more of a benefit at 7 dollars an hour or whatever min wage has climbed to than 20 an hour contract work...I made the same seeming wage and got more back in refunds with the min wage job and owed tax with the contract work to the tune of 17% which is irritating.  oh and the stimulous? joke. the large advantage to returns isn't the money back but the fact our government makes a tidy profit selling the stats of your fill in the blanks.
