  • For Saadia (hehe)

Hope Jose' is not treating you too badly this morning?

Go here for her tequila fueled musings.

  • Fast food in Beijing

I'm really glad now that I didn't make the Olympic Drinking Team after all (finished fourth in the Lager Chug from an old Boot portion of the trials, cost me my position). Without a McDonald's somewhere close, I would probably starve to death in Beijing!

    Enjoy! Or not!

OK, the corn I could handle!

    file006.jpg

And might give the stew a taste. After all, I did eat dog tacos and monkey ball soup in Thailand!

    Yummmmm!!

OK. If you're there, it's late, you've been sampling some local beverages, and you're very, very HUNGRY..............

    would you, could you?

    Tell me true.

  • Blogthing from Saadia

You Are a Lime Flavored Popsicle
You are an outrageous person. For you, summer is all about going crazy - even if it means getting in trouble.
You are daring and adventurous. You have a real taste for the edgier things in life.

A true wild child, there's no hope of you ever slowing down.
You've got too much sass and spunk to ever behave.

  • Canadian Geese on the Banks of the Ohio

Hadn't seen this before. Canadian Geese, in this area, usually congregate at Greenbo Lake State Park, about 15 miles away.

So much so, and so many, that the beach area at Greenbo has been closed for years now due to polluted waters from the droppings.

    They are pretty though.

I'm probably getting too close for their comfort

    Geese 005.jpg

    They're getting restless!

    Geese 007.jpg

    HAH!

I could actually feel the "propwash" from their wings when they took off!

    Cool!

  • Basement Tape of My Nephew Justin

Thought I would share a video of our nephew Justin playing bass cover for the Beatle's "Hello Goodbye".

If you're not nice, I'll post some of his audio clips next!!

    LOL

Actually, he's sent me two CDs that are really pretty good.
