VS
Everyone, and I do mean everyone, is cordially invited to Bud's house this Sunday to watch the opening kickoff of the University of Kentucky's 2008 NCAA Football season!!
Our adversary will be the hated and despised in-state rivals, the University of Louisville Cardinals!
The game will be played in the slum known as Louisville, inside the miserable confines of Papa John's Cowpasture.
This annual event will be shown on ESPN and the signal will be beamed to my old barn here in Russell, Ky to be watched in 1080i HDTV on my 50" Vizio Plasma with full Surround Sound Stereo for the viewing pleasure of my drunken cronies and myself!
If you plan on attending, please be advized, you MUST be wearing BLUE! RED clothing will be a non-admittable offense!
Pre-game knoshing and conviving begins at 1:00 pm with kickoff scheduled for 3:30.

The Series - U of L and Kentucky
Sunday's game at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will be the 21st meeting between Louisville and Kentucky, and the 15th time the two will play for the Kroger's Governor's Cup. UK leads the all-time series, 11-9, but the Cardinals have won seven of the last nine meetings. Kentucky won last year's contest, 40-34, at Commonwealth Stadium with a 57-yard pass in the closing seconds. Louisville has won the last two meetings at home between the two teams and are 3-2 against the Wildcats all-time at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
